We at The Rock School for Dance Education are deeply saddened by the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless other Black Americans who have died at the hands of police. We grieve as our country reckons with the painful legacy of racism that continues to harm Black Americans.

As a cultural institution, we recognize that we have a platform of support for our BIPOC community members to lift their voices and allow them to showcase their artistic expression. We support the many BIPOC dancers, past and present, from all over the world, who have been incredible members of The Rock School community. We will continue to give these dancers the opportunity to change the world through their talents.

The Rock School for Dance Education stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, with those who have lost loved ones to racial violence, and with those protesting continued and long-standing racism within our country. We are committed to supporting anti-racism efforts and supporting our grieving Black community members as they continue to demand better from our country.
